For over thirty years I have been helping people develop healthier lifestyles. After working in several outpatient counseling centers and a residential treatment program, I started my private practice in 1992.

Therapy Philosophy and Treatment Goals

Although many people feel like “damaged goods,” I don’t believe anyone is truly damaged at the core. Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapists believe that we all have at our core a Self that is never damaged or destroyed no matter how difficult a life we’ve experienced or what struggles we've endured. My job as your therapist is to help you reconnect with that core Self. Once that reconnection happens, you will have at your disposal a wealth of internal resources to live a more balanced life.

You will be able to tap into those resources to be happier, manage stress better, and feel more satisfied in relationships. Together we'll set goals, track your progress, and make adjustments as we move forward. I'd like to have the opportunity to help you feel calmer, work more competently, and play and love more harmoniously.
